This overlong remake of Moby Dick starts with Ishmael an upset young professor that wants know the water-land thru a whaling ship commanded by Cap. Ahab, which doesn't care about his assignment, he wish the unattainable whale Moby Dick.

Herman Melville's towering epic of New England seafaring life pits grizzled, obsessive Captain Ahab (Golden Globe nominee Patrick Stewart, "X-Men") against the infamous great white whale, Moby Dick. Co-starring Henry Thomas ("E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial") as Ishmael and the legendary Gregory Peck, who played Ahab in the 1956 version directed by John Huston.
