Talented dancers who spark the judges' interest during auditions are invited to call-backs in Las Vegas, where they work with top choreographers. During the call-back week, the judges choose the Top 20 dancers who will continue in the competition. The Las Vegas Round will air Wednesday, June 6 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) and Thursday, June 7 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), when the top 20 finalists 10 males and 10 females will be announced.

Then it will be up to America to help decide who stays in the competition. The first performance show featuring the Top 20 dancers will air Wednesday, June 13 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). The following night, Thursday, June 14 (9:00-10:00 PM, live ET/PT tape-delayed), the first LIVE results show revealing America's vote will air, and one male and one female performer will be sent home.

Episode 7
The first LIVE results show revealing America's vote will air, and one male and one female performer will be sent home. Special guest Lloyd performs "Get it Shawty". Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy, and Dan Karaty were on the judging panel.

Episode 8
The top 20 contestants dance various styles of choreographed routines in pairs for the chance to be the winner of a $250,000 prize. Viewers will vote on tonight's performance and the 3 couples with the lowest number of votes will be in danger of being eliminated. Each of the 3 girls and 3 guys will perform solos in their respective genres to convince the judges to keep them in the running. One female contestant and one male contestant will be cut.

Viewer votes and the bottom three groups are revealed. Three men, and three women must dance for the judges votes. In the end, one male and one female will be sent home. Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy, and Mia Michaels are again the judges.

The top 16 contestants dance choreographed routines for the viewers votes. Judges: Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy, and special guest judge Debbie Allen.

It's time for the Top 16 results show, and the bottom three of the males and females will be dancing for their lives. One will be cut from each category. Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy, and special guest judge Debbie Allen will decide who goes home.

The top 14 dancers dance for the title of Americas favorite dancer. The host is Cat Deeley. The judges are Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy, and special guest judge Adam Shankman, a choreographer from the new dance movie Hairspray.

Episode 13
Tonight the results of America's votes will be revealed, leaving the bottom 3 couples to "dance for their life." Who will go home?

The top twelve dancers compete for the title of America's Favorite Dancer. Cat Deeley hosts. The three judges to help America decide are Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy, and special guest judge Wade Robson.

Tonight the results of America's votes will be revealed. The three couples with the lowest number of votes will "dance for their lives." Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy, and guest judge Wade Robson will decide who will move on to the next round. After this episode the couples will be randomly picked by a girl who gets to pick a boys name from a hat.

Tonight the results of America's votes will be revealed. The two guys and two girls who pulled the lowest votes from America will be dancing a solo. It will not change the results though. The girl and the boy with lowest votes will leave the show tonight.

Episode 18
The top 8 dancers will be dancing for America's votes. They will be performing two dances, in pairs. For the second time this season, Adam Shankman will be joining Mary Murphy and Nigel Lythgoe at the judges table.

Once again the results of America's votes will be revealed. Every contestants will perform a solo to show America what they can do, but it will not change the results from America's votes. One girl and one boy will be leaving the show tonight.

The competitions starts heating up even more as the final six dancers perform for America's vote. Judges for the evening are Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy, and quest judge for the second time this season, Debbie Allen.

Two of the remaining 6 dancers, 1 guy 1 girl will be voted off leaving 4 to compete in the finale.

The top 4 dancers perform one more time before one of them is awarded America's favorite dancer. This week, each dancer will dance one dance with each of the other 3, as well as a solo in their own style. Judges are Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy, and special guest judge Dan Karaty.
