Peacock, NBCUniversal's service, is built around current-season NBC television, live sport and the Universal film library. Two paid tiers do the work: Premium carries the full catalogue with ads, while Premium Plus removes most ads and adds downloads and your live local NBC station. Universal's newer theatrical films reach Peacock relatively quickly, so it's often the fastest subscription home for recent big releases — but for older catalogue titles, the free ad-supported services frequently carry the same films.
